What to Expect
Walking into a yoga studio for the first time can feel a little intimidating, but we promise you'll feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Our community is warm, inclusive, and excited to practice alongside you.
Classes typically begin with a few minutes of centering and breathwork, move through a series of poses, and end with a restful relaxation. Your teacher will guide you through every step.
What to Bring
Water bottle
Wear comfortable, breathable, stretchy clothing
Large towel (optional). We have small towels for you 😉
Your own yoga mat (we have some rental mats available)
We also have mats available to purchase
An open mind and willingness to try something new
Arriving at the Studio
You must register for each class in advance. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your first class to sign in, and get settled. Our teaching team will show you around and help you find a spot for your mat. Take a moment to relax and prepare for your practice.
Studio Etiquette
These guidelines help us maintain a peaceful, respectful environment where everyone can focus on their practice. We appreciate your mindfulness.
- Arrive 10-15 minutes early to settle in before class begins
- Silence or turn off your cell phone before entering the studio
- Remove shoes upon entering and place them in the designated area
- Speak quietly in the lobby out of respect for classes in session
- Refrain from wearing strong fragrances or perfumes
- Let your teacher know about any injuries or conditions before class
- Stay for the entire class, including final relaxation (savasana)
- If you must leave early, let your teacher know beforehand
- Clean your mat and props after class and return them to their places
- Please cancel your reservation before class if you can't attend
- Be respectful of other students' space and personal belongings
- Stay hydrated but try to minimize disruption during class
- Embrace a judgment-free attitude toward yourself and others

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I've never done yoga before?
Perfect! We welcome complete beginners. Our teachers offer modifications for all levels, and everyone starts somewhere. All you have to do is show up. Not sure what class is for you? Call us! We would love to help you pick a class. 707-365-0344
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable, breathable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely. Cotton material is not ideal heated classes.
Do I need to bring my own mat?
We have mats, blocks, straps, and blankets available for your use. Feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer, but it's not required.
Should I eat before class?
It's best to practice on a relatively empty stomach. Try to eat at least 2-4 hours before class. A light snack is fine if you need something.
How do I book a class?
You can view our schedule and book classes through MindBody. Create a free account to reserve your spot. New students can also call or drop in!
What's your cancellation policy?
Please cancel at least 2 hours before class to avoid a late cancel fee. We appreciate advance notice so other students can take your spot.
Release and Waiver of Liability
You are required to sign this waiver when creating your online profile before registering and participating in class.
In consideration of being permitted to participate in yoga classes, workshops, and other activities at Ebb & Flow Yoga Studio, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Ebb & Flow Yoga Studio, its owners, instructors, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may be sustained by me while participating in any activities at the studio.
I am voluntarily participating in these activities with knowledge of the potential risks involved. I understand that yoga and fitness activities may pose risks including but not limited to: muscle strains, sprains, broken bones, and other physical injuries. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks and accept full responsibility for my participation.
I acknowledge that I have been advised to consult with a physician before beginning any exercise program. I affirm that I am in good physical condition and do not suffer from any disability or condition that would prevent or limit my participation in these activities.
I agree to inform the instructor of any physical limitations, injuries, or medical conditions prior to each class. I understand that it is my responsibility to modify poses or rest as needed during class.
I understand that this waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of California, and that if any portion is held invalid, the remainder will continue in full legal force and effect.
I have read this release and waiver of liability, fully understand its terms, and understand that I am giving up substantial rights by signing it. I am signing it freely and voluntarily without any inducement.
